Heartstopper
We are giving 5 independent bookshops the chance to win an exclusive Heartstopper picnic kit which will include sweet treats, a picnic blanket, downloadable colouring sheets, discussion questions and promotional assets for use with teen book clubs.
Which Way Round the Galaxy
We’re looking for bookshops to be involved in a window challenge in IBW for author-illustrator Cressida Cowell – Cressida uses chalk pens to do combination How to Train Your Dragon/Which Way to Anywhere windows, and we’re keen to do a one or two day challenge to do as many as possible. She’s also happy to leave signed prints for IBW customers.
Giraffes Can’t Dance
We are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of this beloved picture book by Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees with special IBW anniversary party packs and POS (standees, stickers) and will be giving bookshops a chance to win a ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance party’ window display kit.
Exclusive Cheat Book Badges
To celebrate the launch of The Cheat Book, the first book in a brilliantly illustrated new series from Marvel comic book writer Ramzee, branded badges are available exclusively to independent bookshops for IBW via the Hachette Scoop website and can be ordered via this link. Character standees, bookmarks and branded paper bags are also available to request.
Rainbowsaurus Prize Draw
We’re offering one indie the chance to win a Rainbowsaurus stuffed toy to run a competition with in-store, a rainbow-filled window pack and a set of masks to use as photo props!
Rosie Jones Guidance Pack
Indies can request an interactive ‘guidance pack’ from comedian Rosie Jones, which features tips from Rosie on how to deal with problems at school, friendship, crushes and much more. Young customers can take an advice note and a pack of sweets whilst they browse in store.
Independent Bookshop Week Ambassador
Kiran Millwood Hargrave, author of the critically acclaimed In The Shadow of the Wolf Queen the first book in a dazzling new fantasy trilogy, is an official ambassador of Independent Bookshop Week 2024, alongside Rev Richard Coles and Clive Myrie.
Oi Frog and Friends! Bag
The official Independent Bookshop Week tote bag is branded to Oi Frog and Friends! To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the first book in the series Oi Frog! by Kes Gray and Jim Field. The bags will be distributed by the BA in boxes delivered to every indie bookshop along with the official POS. You can order additional POS via this link.
